These terms and conditions (hereinafter “Terms") set out your rights, responsibilities and obligations as a user (hereinafter the "User" or "Users") of the Website http://www.gen- es.org (hereinafter, "gen-es.org") whose title-holder is the la Fundación para el Desarrollo de la Investigación en Genómica y Proteómica (hereinafter, Genoma España), located in Pedro Teixeira, 8, 2nd floor, 28020, Madrid.
Access to and use of gen-es.org is subject to your acceptance of these terms and conditions. By accessing the Website you accept and consent to, without limitation or qualification, all of the terms and conditions as published por Genoma Spain the very moment you access gen-es.org. Therefore, users are strongly advised to check the Terms and conditions every time they access gen-es.org.
2. Use of the website http://www.gen-es.org
2.1 The USER undertakes to use of gen-es.org, its services and its contents in accordance with the law, morality, proper conduct and public order and pursuant to these General Conditions.
2.2 Genoma España reserves the right to carry out at any given time, without prior warning, modifications and updates it deems convenient to the site gen-es.org, being able to change, withdraw or add content and services provided through the same and the way these are presented or located in the site.
2.3 Users of gen-es.org must observe any instructions Genoma España gives them by e-mail or through the site gen-es.org.
2.4 Genoma España reserves the right to modify at any given time without prior notice these terms and conditions, being duly published as they here appear on gen-es.org.

3. Users’ personal data protection
3.1 Job offers
In accordance with the Law 15/1999, of December 13, on Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your data will be incorporated into the File “Staff”, owned by Genoma España, the purpose of which is to manage the selection process when a job vacancy arises.
Your résumé will be part of the next staff recruitment process at the Foundation; in case of not being selected, please note that, unless you contact us and clearly object to it, we will keep your résumé for a period of 5 years. After this period all data will be deleted from our information systems.
Your data will not be disclosed to third parties.
If we do not receive any message from you objecting to the mentioned data processing, we understand that you, as owner of the data, give your consent and authorization to their inclusion in the abovementioned file. At any time you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection for free. To do this, send a letter to Genoma España, Pedro Teixeira, 8, level 2, 28020, Madrid.
3.2 Newsletter
In accordance with the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on Protection of Personal Data, Genoma España informs you that your personal data will be incorporated to the file Newsletter, in order to manage the newsletter for registered users, through which the Foundation sends information about organization of courses or events, grant calls, and greetings on special occasions.Your data will not be disclosed to third parties.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the form to be completed by the sender are required to fulfill your request, while it is optional supplying data in the other fields.
You can exercise your right of access, rectification, cancellation and objection addressing Genoma España, Pedro Teixeira, 8, 2nd floor, 28020, Madrid.
4. Specific requirements for certain sections
gen-es.org offers services that are open to all the visitors and others restricted to registered users who have completed the User Registration form. The services offered by gen-es.org are only for informational purposes.
4.1. Services open to all users
gen-es.org offers open services available to all the users that visit the site, these users are only authorized to use the PORTAL upon acceptance and accordance with the conditions set out here, otherwise, they should leave the web site gen-es.org
The use of these information services is free.
4.2. Services resctricted to registered users
gen-es.org offers services restricted to the users who have previously completed the required fields in the User Registration Form, which can be found on the site.
Identification only can be completed just after registration. The conditions of access to these sections are outlined in the following section.

5. Terms of use for registered users
5.1. Registration Form
To register you must provide all the data required in the User Registration Form and marked with an asterisk (*), if any of the required fields is not completed you cannot continue with the registration process.
The email address you provide will be your user name and identify you on accessing the system; you must also provide a password of your choice in order to be validated. To verify it, you must enter it again in the next field. It is strongly advised that this password should consist of a minimum of five characters and they are alphanumeric
5.2. Modification of data and subscription cancellation
You can change your details or cancel your subscription by sending a request to info@gen-es.org.
6. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All information contained in gen-es.org, graphic design and code in HTML, JAVA, JAVA Script or Active X, is protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. These rights belong exclusively to Genoma España or its licensors. Internet users accessing this website may view the information contained in it and download or reproduce it in their computer system, provided that the elements are not given to others or installed on a server connected to the Internet or local network. It is forbidden, without prejudice to what is stipulated in these Terms of Use, the distribution, modification, transfer, disclose, or copy of a part of or all of the information on gen-es.org without prior authorization from Genoma España. The user must use the contents and the information contained in gen-es.org, diligently, correctly and lawfully, and in particular, solely for personal, noncommercial use, provided they do not delete or modify the content or any mention to sources, copyright and other data identifying rights of Genoma España or third parties, that is to say, respecting its original format. Any reproduction or copying, distribution or publication of any kind, of the contents and information posted on gen-es.org without prior written permission of Genoma España is strictly forbidden. Authorization for reproduction can be requested by e-mail to info@gen-es.org.
Should any user or third party considers that any of the content on gen-es.org violates the copyright or other intellectual property rights, please inform Genoma España by sending a notification to the email address info@gen-es.org, including at least the following information:
a) Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the claimant.
b) Details of the owner of copyright or other intellectual property rights that may have been violated.
c) Identification of the infringing content and its location on gen-es.org
d) A statement that the content has been posted without the consent of the owner of copyright or other intellectual property rights. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraphs, Genoma España reserves the right to defend itself against claims based on the pertinent rules concerning publicity, copyright or other intellectual property rights.
7. Hyperlinks
7.1 gen-es.org may contain links to advertisements or third party Web sites. Genoma España is not responsible for the control and does not control, approve nor own the services, content, data, files, products or any kind of material on the web site or third party websites, so Genoma España will not be held responsible under any circumstance for the legality of the contents of the site, being the sole responsibility of the third party, by way of example and without any limitation, the accordance of this content with the law, morals, good customs and public order, and that they do not infringe the rights of any third party. The existence of a hyperlink does not imply any relationship between Genoma España and the owner of the website where the link is established.
7.2 Those users or third parties aiming to create a hyperlink to the gen-es.org site must guarantee that the hyperlink only allows access to pages or services of the site gen-es.org but does not perform, by way of example and without any limitation, reproduction of contents, deep-links, browsers, inaccurate or incorrect statements, about the content or the website gen-es.org. Except for those signs that are part of the hyperlink, the user guarantees that the website where you establish the hyperlink does not contain trademarks, trade names, shop signs, company names, logos, slogans or any type of distinctive sign belonging to Genoma España
8. Exclusion of warranties and liability
8.1 Genoma España does not guarantee the reliability, availability and continued operation of its website or the products or services made available to the user, so it does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for damages of any kind that may arise from lack of availability, reliability and continuity of its website or its services, althouth it will try to provide, to the extent possible, technical assistance to the affected user.
8.2 With the limits established by law, Genoma España cannot assume or accept any claim arising from the lack of veracity, integrity and / or update of the contents and information of any kind contained in gen-es.org. The content and information on gen-es.org has been prepared by qualified professionals.
8.3 Genoma España is not responsible for and does not control in advance, the absence of virus or anything in the content that may alter the software or hardware of users or visitors to the pages, so it will not be liable for damages of any kind whatsoever arising therefrom.
8.4 Genoma España is not responsible for the control and does not control, approve nor own the services, content, data, files, products or any kind of material on the web page or pages of third parties, so Genoma España will not be held responsible under any circumstance for the legality of the contents of these web ites, being the sole responsibility of the third party, by way of example and without any limitation, the accordance with the law, morals, good customs and public order of their content, and that they do not infringe the rights of any third party.
8.5 The user shall be liable for damages and / or losses of any kind that Genoma España could suffer as a consequence of the breach by the user of any law or terms of use contained herein.
9. Cookies
gen-es.org will make use of cookies, log, links and other technologies to store user preferences and improve the quality of our services, ensure technical functioning of the site, measure our audience and develop new and better features.
Such registers shall be kept in your computer for a maximum period of twelve months. If you disable or reject cookies, you may find that some of the functions and / or services of the PORTAL.may not work properly
The PORTAL has no control over the sites displayed as search results, links or access from our directory. These other sites may use their own cookies or ask for personal information.
However, users are informed of the possibility of setting your computer browser to reject cookies.
10. Safeguarding Terms of Use
If any of these Terms and Conditions are held to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, such terms shall be deemed deleted from the clause and the remaining provisions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and binding on you. Genoma España undertakes to replace the stipulation in question with a valid clause, in accordance with the original intent of the parties as closely as possible.
11. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are subject to current Spanish legislation. Genoma España and users, with regard to any controversy which may arise with respect to their validity, execution, performance or termination, in whole or in part, are subject, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction or any other that could correspond, to the Courts of Law of the city of Madrid. This contract represents the whole and complete agreement between Genoma España and the user, and supersedes all previous covenants, undertakings, representations or agreements, either written or oral, that may have previously existed between them.
