Mission

Genoma España is commited to facilitate technology transfer by means of

• ensuring protection of industrial property and knowledge enhancement,
• fostering the creation of technology-based companies, and
• establishing technology innovation programmes for the productive sectors related to the strategic actions described in the National R &D&i Plan -Biotechnology, Health, Renewable Energy Sources, ICT, Nanotechnology and New Materials.

Objectives

• Developing technology innovation programmes
• Contributing to internationalize the technology sectors assigned to the different strategic areas mentioned in the National R&D &I Plan, stressing the importance of biotechnology.
• Improving technology & knowledge transfer from universities and public research as well as technology centres to private companies.
• Encouraging public-private partnership
