Since the programme Biocampus was launched in 2005 a total of 94 companies have been set up.  About 47% of the business plans drawn up during the programme have become actual entrepreneurial projects.

Training Program for Biotech Company Managers/Directors

 

Description

 

The company managers/directors training program is based on action and participation, follows the usual format for Management Development Programs and is specifically designed for business professionals in the biotechnology sector

 

Target Audience

 

Functional managers and people with high a potential working in close collaboration with their senior management who need a comprehensive approach to the whole of operations/activities in a biotechnology spin-off and/or start-up.

 

Features

 

  • Individual on-line training and attention;
  • Discussion of a Case Study which is the result of the experience gathered by four Spanish biotech companies with a common thread- search for funding;
  • Four different forums for each of the issues addressed (strategy, finance, negotiation and intellectual property) coordinated and moderated by an expert in each one of the areas;
